- Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company's AWS infrastructure.
- Lead cloud operations, security, and CI/CD integration for development teams.
- Architect and manage pfSense firewall and VPN networks, ensuring robust security within AWS accounts.
- Oversee full application stacks, from the operating system to custom applications on AWS.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to uphold network security, storage environments, and application security standards.
- Drive the adoption and optimization of continuous integration and deployment methodologies for server-based technologies.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering skill development and best practices.
- Proactively perform regular infrastructure checks, identify issues, and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Train team members on technical and procedural topics related to server and cloud engineering.
- Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.) and infrastructure design.
- Extensive experience with pfSense firewall and VPN management.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube) in a cloud environment.
- Advanced Linux and Windows Server system administration skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex infrastructure projects.
